Call for extended abstracts
We offer you the possibility to publish an extended abstract of your contribution in the proceedings, regardless of your participation at the congress. The proceedings will be published open access on the publication server of the GFZ under the CC-BY 4.0 license, get a DOI and will be listed in all major data bases. All extended abstracts will be peer-reviewed.

Please find below the details for the submission of your extended abstract:
- - Number of submissions: Each author can submit one extended abstract, regardless of the number of submitted abstracts. If you submitted more than one, please decide for which contribution you want to submit the extended abstract.
- - Length: 3000 words including bibliography and figure captions.
- - Formatting: Please use the format options provided by the text editor in the submission form. Section headings must be numbered. Figures and tables must be referenced in the text.
- - Citation style: Please use Harvard style. For detailed instructions please consult: https://library.aru.ac.uk/referencing/harvard.htm Only publications cited in the text can appear in the references.
- - Language: English (British or American, but be consistent). Please ensure that your submission has a high level of the language. We will directly reject submission in poor English.
- - Equations: Please write equations according to the notation used by LATEX to prevent any problems with later formatting. You can use an online editor (e.g. https://www.codecogs.com/latex/eqneditor.php?lang=en-en) to build it and copy/paste it into your abstract
- - Files/Figures/Tables/Artwork:
- Tables: use excel format (xls, xlsx) or csv
- Artwork: vector graphics as encapsulated postscript (eps) or tiff with 1200 dpi; raster graphics as tiff or jpg with 300 dpi
- Filenames: please label artwork and tables according to their number in the text (e.g. Tab1.xlsx, Fig1.tiff, Fig2.eps)
- Upload of tables and artwork: use a zip folder to upload multiple files. Maximum total size of the upload is 50 MB.
